Kids’ Closet

Kids’ Closet Needs List

COBYS has one big closet for all our kids. Each foster child coming into care receives a backpack filled with clothes, toys, personal care items, a Bible and more. The Closet allows caseworkers to “shop” for each child and their unique needs. Gifts for special occasions, supplies for caseworkers’ activities with kids and car seats for visitations all have a spot in the Closet. (No used items, please).

COBYS is grateful to churches and church groups who organize a drive to help “stock the closet” with supplies for our foster care and adoption children.

The complete, current list of items is available on our Amazon Wish List located here:

This allows us to confirm need of specific items and availability of staff to receive the donation.

Thank you for your interest in supporting the kids we serve.

It’s risky and just downright scary, at times, now that we have grown to love a child who may not be in our family forever. But the joys of watching her change and thrive outweigh our own fears and insecurities. In the end, it’s not about us; it’s about God’s plan for our lives and hers. We have seen that God blesses when we submit to his plan and so we desire to keep on that path.
