Meet the Albrechts
COBYS Family Services introduces Marisa and Eric Albrecht who will share their stand-by care foster care journey.
Eric and Marisa Albrecht have been a part of the foster care standby community since 2021 and have had over 20 standby foster children placed in their home. They have a passion to help children and families in our community.
They will be our guests to share their story of acting on their call to be an on-call standby foster family. Hear some of the stories of their more than 20 temporary foster children in the last four years and how they approach this service as a family.

11:30 – 12:00 Welcome reception and appetizers
12:00 – 12:45 pm Buffet lunch
12:45 – 1:30 pm Foster family conversation
Buffet Options
Penne pasta w/chocolate and braised beef tomato sauce, gorgonzola, wild mushrooms, lightly dusted Wilbur’s dark chocolate
Slow roasted chicken breast/thigh with whipped potatoes and assorted vegetables (gluten free)
Orecchiette Pasta with sautéed broccoli, crushed cauliflower, garlic and chilies (vegan/vegetarian)
Cost:
$60 per person
$120 per couple
$450 per table of eight
A freewill offering will be taken.
Who will care for these kids?
Executive Director, Mike Lausch will continue to answer this question showing that together we are caring for kids and families who are in a position when they need it most. Through brief examples of the hope we provide, we’ll share what is new and what is happening every day across the organization.
