TBRI® Classes for Resource Parents

Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI is designed for children from “hard places” such as abuse, neglect, and/or trauma. Because of their histories, it is often difficult for these children to trust the loving adults in their lives, which often results in perplexing behaviors. This training offers practical tools for resource parents to see the “whole child” in their care and help that child reach his/her highest potential.

Foster, Kinship and Adoptive parents of COBYS Family Services, Lancaster County Children & Youth Agency, Berks County Children & Youth Services, Schuylkill County Children & Youth Services and other contracted agencies are invited to register for the 8-week TBRI course. Class meets 1 ½ hours each week.

Attendance Policy:
Successful completion of the TBRI course requires full participation. Participants are allowed to miss 3 hours (2 sessions) of the course, otherwise he/she will need to retake the entire course.

Booster Classes: 

Booster Classes consist of once per month for a total of 8 sessions.   If you have already been trained in TBRI, feel free to sign up for any of the booster sessions as a refresher.  Please Note:  All booster sessions need to be registered for separately.
