Come celebrate with us on this milestone year that we have been rolling and strolling together!
We cherish the chance to gather with you to celebrate in support of the services of COBYS, so together we can deliver a broad range of social services across the region with the compassion, dignity and hope everyone deserves.

This level of care cannot happen without you!

 

Kickstart Campaign

Help us Kickstart the fundraising for our Bike & Hike event with a donation before anyone put foot to pedal or pavement. Start us with a firm foundation for our
biggest annual fundraiser.

B&H Schedule

Choose your event, arrive on time and let the fun begin, all the way through to the ice cream celebration.
Registration and the starts of the rides and walks will take place in the front of the church (along Orange Street).

25-mile Bicycle Riders:
12:00 p.m. – Registration/Check-in begin
12:30 p.m. – Ride begins

1 ½-mile Tasty Tour Walkers:
12:30 p.m. – Check-in begins 12:30 p.m.
1:00 p.m. – Tasty Tour Walk begins 1:00 p.m.
NOTE: Participation in Tasty Tour is pre-order only and minimum donation/sponsorship is $60/person. Sign up before August 31.

10-mile Bicycle Riders and 3-mile Walkers:
1:00 p.m. – Registration/Check-in
1:30 p.m. – Ride and Walk begin

Incredible Ice Cream Celebration:
Around 2:45 p.m. – When participants begin to return

How to Bike & Hike

Choose your “event”

There are several ways to participate in the COBYS Bike & Hike:
Ride your bicycle on the 25-mile route through the beautiful Lancaster County countryside, complete with a ride through a covered bridge.
Ride your bicycle on an easier, family-friendly 10-mile course through farmlands around Lititz.
Walk the traditional 3-mile stroll through Lititz Springs Park and through Lititz.
Enjoy delicious treats along the 1 1/2 walk of the Tasty Tour, stopping for food at four of Lititz best eateries.

All “events” return to join in the Incredible Ice Cream Celebration featuring delicious Fox Meadows vanilla and/or chocolate ice cream and your choice of toppings, served under the pavilion in the back of the church.

Step 1 – Register

• Pre-Register online or by mail with a $30 ($60 Tasty Tour) minimum donation or sponsorship.
• $5 Early Bird Discount if you register before August 25 (August 11 for Tasty Tour).
• Family registration: $100/($200-Tasty Tour) minimum donation/sponsorships (for families of more than three individuals).
• NOTE: Due to planning for food, Tasty Tour is pre-registration only by August 25.
• Registration is available up to 9 AM online on September 7, or at the event (not Tasty Tour).
• All donations $20 and more will receive tax acknowledgment.

Step 2 – Gather Sponsorships:

• Expand your circle of giving – invite others to join you or support you and COBYS with a pledge.
• Create an online fundraising page.
• Collect donations – credit card online or by check.
• Submit sponsorship information and monies to COBYS at the event or mail to: 444 Murry Hill Circle, Lancaster, PA 17601.

Step 3 – Enjoy A Walk or Ride:

We look forward to seeing you September 7 at Lititz Church of the Brethren.
