I avoid using drugs or alcohol to make myself feel better or to get me through.
I try to look for good or positive parts of things that happen in my life.
When I face a problem, I think through all my options to solve it.
I try to think less about the negatives in life and distract myself by doing positive activities.
I know that it's okay to say "no" to my peers when I feel uncomfortable about a situation.
I reach out for emotional support from others when I need it.
When I have negative feelings, I can talk about these feelings in an appropriate way.
